Algae In Ponds

As you may be aware, there has been a large bloom of algae at the ponds this summer. This is due to the warm weather and a high nutrient load in the water. The HOA is aware of the problem, and have been treating it. Many other communities in the area are dealing with the same issue. Residents should see improvement at the ponds by this weekend.
Along with treatment, and cooler temperatures, the algae issue should be under control within the next few weeks. We are working with the pond management company to implement measures to prevent this from occurring next year.
