What is an HOA?
Two Sunset Pointe Homeowners Association, Inc. is a not-for-profit Texas Corporation and is the governing body that is tasked with enforcing the rules of the community. The Association’s rules are called the CC&R’s and the By-Laws, (CC&R’s stand for Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions). The CC&R’s and the By-Laws are legal documents that have been filed and are on record with Denton County.
Who runs the HOA?
Two Sunset Pointe Homeowners Association, Inc. strives to provide transparency in its tasks, projects, enforcement of the CC&R’s and the By-Laws. The governing body, responsible for the authority of the HOA is the Board of Directors. All of the Board of Directors are residents of Two Sunset Pointe. They are serving in a voluntary position and are elected for a two year term of office by the homeowners of the community during the Annual Meeting.
How do I know what the HOA is doing?
The Board of Directors holds monthly meetings, which are open to all residents of the community, during the Open Session. The agenda is posted at least 72 hours prior to the Board Meeting on the TwoSunsetPointe.com website, the weekly eblast, and at the On-site HOA office.
The minutes to all meetings are posted to the website and the eblast, once they are approved and signed, which occurs after the following Board meeting.
What are committees?
All committees are Board approved committees to serve to assist the Board with various projects. Each Committee has a Charter, which provides a defended purpose and direction to the Committee.
How do I get in touch with the board members?
The Board of Directors and the HOA Staff, strive to make communication a priority. You may wish to obtain the communications through a variety of official platforms.

All homeowner and resident information is held in complete confidence. The Board of Directors, Committee Members, and the HOA staff does not share information pertaining to your account, compliance issues, or personal information.
The best way to understand the duties of the HOA, the Board of Directors, and Committees, is to become involved. Please consider volunteering, your knowledge and expertise is welcomed!
